Beginner Application

Enrollment in SP001 and SP014 is by permission number only. Enrollment in Spanish 1 is by permission number only. We will contact you as soon as we verify the information you send us.  To receive a permission number, submit the following form (or present a hard copy):

  I did not study any Spanish in high school. (If you check this option, please note what language you studied and for how long.)
 
  I had fewer than three years of high school Spanish. (If you check this option, please note how many years you studied Spanish.)

  I received a 370 or lower on the SAT II.
  I took the Duke Spanish Placement Test on   and received a score that corresponds to SP001 or SP014.
